A POEM FOR OUR SOLDIERS BY ERIN MANGUS (Nick's Sister) Our small world is faced
with the prospect of "WAR"
To defend our freedom and liberty that we need and
adore Young men and women are putting their lives on the
line. Allowing US to know the feeling of
security, safety and to truly be fine, Living in peace with no fear in our hearts. That's now their mission and has been from the start. So what can we do for these heroes fighting for our
lives? Pray they return safely home to their children,
parents, husbands and wives. We may not all agree on how to solve the problems at
hand. But there is little we can do despite our pleads and
demands. We have to trust these soldiers with everything we
have and everything we are. Believe in them and know that they are fighting for us
in lands Afar. They're the only hope we have to put this to an end, All without thinking of the danger facing their family
and friends I, along with most Americans, cry for all their fate The things that they will see and do, raging against
the hate But despite what we may want as the citizens of this
great land Those decisions are quite obviously out of our hands GOD willing our flag will still wave, after we've won
the fight As we always have, and will always be knowing our
freedom is right GOD BLESS THE USA--HER SOLDIERS and MY BROTHER |
