Remembering Mom
Once more My Thoughts are on Momma
And it seems each day, I softly mourn,
For my mother is home with the angels
Where her heart has been re-born.
I try to keep my brightest smile
For those around to know,
But deep inside there's a little cry
For I miss my mother so.
I'd love to sit again and hold her hand
As I am lonesome for her all the while,
But I'm also glad for her to be in heaven
Restored with her sweet smile.
I know God took her when His time was right
So no more suffering she would see,
The burdens of her mother heart
Are finally gone eternally.
How I cherish all the special ways
She poured forth of her tender love,
Giving selflessly, dear Mom, now resting
Rewarded in her Lord above.
Dear Mother mine, I may be sad today
Missing the one that I adore,
But one day we'll be together
Close, just like we were before.

MOTHER
DEAREST
Oh mother
dear
I miss thee,
thou art the fairest true,
Shall I tell so of the ways
my heart doth grieve anew.
For each new day I see thee more
in all I say and do,
The way my hands may move
or how I speak like you,
I copy you a thousand times
and then I miss thee more,
which shows me as the years go by
of all the love you bore.
My
heart returns to all you sang
the stories you might tell,
Your gentleness in dark of night
the voice I knew so well.
Oh
mother dear
you're always mine,
no other mother so divine,
Should I but share of all your ways
would be such blessing kind.

My Mother
My mother was an angel in disguise
God made mother special in every way
She greeted us with love in her eyes
As we arrived home at the end of the day.
Some days when quality time was rare
Mother would tell us to do our very best
Take time to kneel and say a prayer
Believing that God would do the rest.
I think God put a little of Himself
Into my mother's heart
Molding her with the finest clay
When He created her that day.
Mother was a loving gift from heaven
Only God could create and supply
And I will always keep on believing
My mother was an angel in disguise.
"My Mother was sent from God
in heaven as an angel in disguise And Now He Needs her Back |
