Hey Dad, Ya Got A Minute

Hey  Dad, ya got a minute?
  I'd like ta talk ta you.
I heard sumpthin really awesome,
In Billy's  Sunday School.

Oh Yea! I went there with him,
and they told about this Baby.
He was born in a kinda funny place,
His Mom was a different kinda Lady.

I don't know why she went riden,
I guess her husband was along.
On a donkey ride, too far away,
from the hospital, where she belonged.

Seems like the doctor woulda told her,
to call him on the phone,
But she went off  on this long ride,
must be she couldn't make it home.

I think the teacher, meant the hotel
didn't have another bed,
Must be she liked to camp out,
They went to see the animals instead,

I'll bet she sure was surprised,
to get a Baby on Christmas Day.
The teacher said the Baby was special,
But Dad, she laid Him in the hay.

Hey  Dad, would you go with me?
Cause, this story is the best.
I know ya wanna watch the ball game,
But after lunch, you can rest.

I really like this story,
Teacher said this Baby was really great.
I wish that you and Mom would go,
Won't ya go,  just for my sake?
